- Ebony's family are heading to court over leaked video by mortuary man
- The father of the singer has been angered by the bizarre morgue video of his daughter
The family of the late dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, aka Ebony, is said to have been angered by a leaked video showing a mortuary attendant 'fondling' the corpse of the late singer and her friend, Franky Kuri.
According to an Entertainmentgh.com report, the family of the celebrated singer are acting fast in taking legal action against the Bechem Government Hospital, and every single person in charge of operations at the Morgue, especially the culprits involved in the despicable act.
Further reports say, the father of Ebony, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, together with a family lawyer and management of RuffTown Records are already in the Brong Ahafo Region to sue the Bechem Hospital over the bizarre video.
“This is disgusting and sickening; the ability of a human being to take and ‘fondle’ a dead body in a morgue, take footage and share to the masses,” a member of the family said.
Another member of Ebony’s family, who is said to have been appalled by the conduct of the mortuary attendant insisted that, the family will not rest until they bring the culprits and officials of the hospital before the law.
“This is the most obnoxious act ever perpetuated by any human in the world of show business or general lifestyle. For professionals in medical facility to muster the effrontery and insanity to manhandle dead bodies, take coverage of it on their phones and share is beyond shame,” he said.
The distasteful act which was executed by some personnel at the Bechem Government Hospital Mortuary on the dead bodies of Ebony and Franky Kuri on camera has left many Ghanaians terrified.
The unfortunate video has gone viral, with many Ghanaians calling for the immediate shut down of the medical facility.
However, reports say the bizarre video footage has since been taken down by social media platform, Facebook.
