-Ebony's funeral will be held at the Independence Square
-This was revealed by Ebony's father in a radio interview
The funeral of the late Dancehall diva Ebony Reigns will held at the Black Star Square in Accra.
The choice of the Black Star Square which is popularly known as the Independence Square, YEN.com.gh understands, is to get enough space for the large crowd that is expected to attend the funeral.
Confirming the information in an interview on HItz FM, Ebony's father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng disclosed that the Independence Square was selected after deliberations between the family and other concerned parties.
The selection of the Independence Square can be described as apt considering the overwhelming crowds that thronged the St Martins De Porres School at Dansoman during her one-week observation on February 18.
With such crowds, it is obvious that a much bigger venue would be needed.
Ebony died in a gory accident near Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi on February 8 while returning from a visit to her mother, Beatrice Oppong in Sunyani.
While Ebony will be buried in Accra on March 17, Franky will be buried on March 3, with Francis also getting buried on March 23.
Meanwhile a video of mortuary attendants allegedly fondling and playing with the dead bodies of Franky and Ebony has hit social media causing public outrage.
Displeased by the video, Ebony's father has vowed to get the person(s) behind the video punished.
