Popular Ghanaian radio presenter, Abeiku Santana, has dispelled the notion that he is a member of the Illuminati, a secret society.

According to him, he is at a loss as to why conspiracy theorists would draw such conclusions about him, as he knows literally nothing about them.

“I just laugh it off because I serve the living God, the Almighty God, His name is Jehovah, the creator of the heaven and earth, through His son, my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ”, he proclaimed.

He added that he neither belongs to, nor intends to join such a group for any reason, and for that matter, he is surprised such an assertion has come up.

Claims about his membership came to the attention of Ghanaians during the one-week observance of the late music artiste, Ebony, which was held on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

A hand gesture he allegedly displayed, while at the solemn ceremony, generated a myriad of suggestions to the effect that he is part of the secret group.

Abeiku Santana explained the reason for his action, by saying he only sought to wait for the speaker to finish.

A such, he continued, clasping his hands was an attempt to occupy himself with something, but never a secret signal.

“Well, I like playing with my fingers and as a young man who appeals to the youth, we call something, ‘swag’ which gives rise to some of these gestures”, he added.

He went on to say that he knows next to nothing about the signs of the Illuminati, and for that matter, as Ghanaians, we need to dismiss such notions from our minds.
