YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of an older woman, children and young men singing Ebony’s ‘Maame Hw3’.
The video is sighted on the Facebook wall of Pulse TV.
From the way they sing, it is obvious that they like the song and were good fans of the late dancehall diva Ebony.
The older woman for example, is captured dancing, and throwing her hands and legs in the air while doing so.
The children, obviously below the ages of eight, who were also singing separately, also showed by their demeanour that they loved Ebony.
‘Maame Hw3’ the last song Ebony released herself in December 2017 before her sad demise.
The song is undoubtedly on the heart of many Ghanaian music lovers, old and young.
After just a month of its release, ‘Maame Hw3’ recorded over one million views on YouTube, and this got Ebony so excited.
Recently, YEN.com.gh also published the report of some young school children singing ‘Maame Hw3’ at an assembly.
An indication that Ebony, within her short stay in the industry, took over the music industry.
Her other songs include: ‘Hustle’, ‘Poison’, ‘Kupe’, ‘Sponsor’, ‘Date Ur Fada’, and others.
Ebony met her untimely death on February 8, 2018 on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway.
She was returning from the Brong Ahafo Region after visiting her mother and other family members when the gory accident happened.
Her burial ceremony has been slated for March 17, 2018 at the Independence Square in Accra.
