Colombian rapper, Mc Dementor, says Ghanaians would have to be content with the security system.
Reacting to the recent robbery attacks in the country, Mc Dementor says Ghana's rate of insecurity cannot be compared to developments in his hometown country, Columbia.
Making some comparisons with Ghana and Columbia, the budding rapper argued that whereas Ghana is crying over two to three cases of armed robbery, Columbia suffers about 8000 cases of armed robbery on a daily to weekly bases.
Ghana recorded close to 80 cases of armed in January 2018 alone as compared to 60 cases in 2017.
Records by the Ghana Police Service reveal that the ratio of security officials to civilians currently stands at 1 policeman to 500 Ghanaians.
This troubling reality falls in sharp contrast with the success stories of various African countries who have a satisfactory of police per civilian ratio.
