YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of the late dancehall queen, Ebony Reigns, in which she unleashes some fresh rap skills.
The video comes as a surprise to many because Ebony was known for her talented dancehall skils, not rap.
The way Ebony raps in this video shows she was indeed a versatile musician.
Her rap prowess as shown in the video, proves that she could do better as a rapper than most rappers in Ghana.
Unfortunately, Ebony Reigns did not live long enough to let Ghanaians and the whole world see this side of her talent.
She lost her young and beautiful life in a gory accident which claimed the lives of two others with her.
Even in death, Ebony continues to reign.
On Friday, 2nd March 2018, her family reportedly signed a deal with GTP on her behalf.
The giant textile printing company would manufacture new collections of customized cloths with some of Ebony’s song.
For instance, a cloth will be disigned with her hit song ‘Maame Hw3’, which would be used for funerals.
Another customized-design would be made with her ‘Aseda’ song for happy occasions like child christening.
A colourful ‘Sponsor’-customized cloth will also be made for occasions like parties.
Ebony was known in real life as Prisicilla Opoku-Kwarteng.
Her funeral ceremony will be held at the Independence Square on March 17, 2018.
