- A woman has been arrested in relation to a circulation of video about Shatta Wale swearing at the police
- The woman is suspected to have been in a different police car awaiting prosecution
Police officials have arrested and bailed a woman suspected to have taken the video which saw Shatta Wale exchanging words with the police officer on the streets of East Legon.
This video showed how the king of dancehall music in Ghana, Shatta Wale, created a scene on at one of the main streets at East Legon. The musician exchanged words with a police officer over what YEN.com.gh believes to be some misunderstanding on the registration of the vehicle he was driving.
The woman, whose identity has been withheld, was picked up and later granted bail for allegedly capturing the video of Shatta.
It is being alleged that the woman was in a separate vehicle preparing to be processed for court for other unrelated issues.
In the video, the police officer is seen ordering the artiste and his friends to get back into their cars and follow him to the police station. Although the controversial singer tried to talk to the policeman to let him and his friends go, it was turned down.
