- Prof. Martey argues that even scientists have not been able to prove human beings can be born homosexuals
- The 'Man of God' believes they can still be 'born again' if they leave that life behind
A renowned Ghanaian religious leader has disclosed that the practice of homosexuality is satanic and abominable act of God that must not be encouraged in Ghanaian society.
According to Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, the former Moderator of Presbytarian Church, persons who engaged in the act of gayism are descendants of Satan and are ‘evils’.
Speaking at the Agape House New Testament Church over the weekend, The 'Man of God' indicated that Satanists are mostly the ones in control of the country’s finances, and when such evil acts are allowed to fester, it will make the country look shameful.
‘’It’s a disgrace to a nation that sanctions homosexuality whether they say I was born with it or it’s genetic," the Rev. Prof. said.
Prof. Martey who was clearly not happy in his address, indicated that such 'loose talk' and statements are baseless and have no grounds in the eyes of God.
The respected Clergyman added that even scientists have not been able to prove whether it is natural for someone to be born a homosexual or otherwise.
‘’For somebody to call himself a Christian and homosexual or lesbian at the same. For me I don’t want any argument…they say they were born that way, okay, you were born that way but if you say you want to be a Christian there’s something called regeneration, being born again if you were born homosexual and you want to be a Christian then you must be born again,” he said.
Prof. Martey lamented that it simply beats his understanding on how some individuals are able to claim to be gay and Christians at the same time.
