President Muhammadu Buhari was the guest speaker at the 61st Independence Day celebration held at the Independence Square on March 6, 2018.

In his speech, President Buhari disclosed his willingness to help President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to fight corruption in Ghana.

But that part of President Buhari’s speech has attracted huge criticisms and mockery from Ghanaians.

This is because they feel the Nigerian President is pretending to be holier than thou when his country has been rated worldwide as the most corrupt country in Africa.

So they believe his offer to Akufo-Addo to help him fight corruption is nothing to be taken serious.

The latest to join in the mockery of President Buhari is the self-acclaimed queen of Ghana comedy.

According to Afia Schwarzenegger, President Buhari should read Matthew 7: 3-5 before he reads out a speech to Ghanaians the next time.

Matthew 7: 3-5 reads: “3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” -New International Version (NIV)

In effect, Afia Schwar seeks to tell President Buhari to first of all deal with the massive corruption in his backyard before extending it to Ghana.

Her post has attracted a lot of her fans and followers to comment.

One fan, Bobby Big Boss wrote: "Eiiiii is this true.. Hmmmmm".

Another fan, Wisdom, could not agree more with Afia.
