A report by Joy FM placed the spotlight in the Central Region, where men are being forced to marry their deceased girlfriends.
What this means is that these men perform a wedding ceremony for their deceased girlfriend after which they perform a befitting funeral for her.
"To put it bluntly, you must marry a dead woman because you failed to perform the marriage rites of the woman when she was alive," One of the residents of the region stated.
