As many people showed their patriotism and pride on Ghana’s Independence Day with breathtaking photos on social media, a street hawker managed to win the hearts of many people with her wares while showing off her patriotism.
The egg and pepper seller seemed to have taken the attention off the Instagram celebrities, who were seen clad in expensive clothing showcasing their pride during Ghana’s 61st Independence celebration.
The picture of the street hawker spotted by YEN.com.gh captured the young seller with her eggs all painted with the colors of Ghana’s flag.
The picture was taken by a passenger who could not help but admire the patriotism being exbibited by the petty trader.
The young lady showed off her pride for her homeland Ghana in the simplest of ways, but she managed to make a huge statement with her effort.
The picture has since gone viral on social media with many people also admiring and commending the young street hawker for her matchless love for Ghana.
Other public figures including Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, were seen looking exquisitely dressed on Ghana’s Independence Day.
Some celebrities were also not left out as they took to their Instagram handles to show off their love for mother Ghana.
However, the young street hawker’s gesture has shone through all the extravagance that was showcased by the top public figures in all their splendor.
