- Pastor Mensa Otabil is warning congregants against knocking on his door for prayers
- The pastor believes congregants have the power and strength to deal with their own issues
- Mensa Otabil had earlier blamed the media for being mediocre
General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has released yet another bombshell on his congregation.
This was during his sermon to commemorate the 34th anniversary of his church, where he warned his congregants never to worry him at midnight for prayers and spiritual guidance.
Mensa Otabil believes his church is designed to teach and grow leaders who are able to take charge of their lives hence the need not to rely on him and other pastors for prayers.
"Here we don’t teach dependence and that’s why I’m not going to say that everybody, after church come and see me for prayer; if you are going to travel come and see me for prayer, until I release you to go, you cannot travel,” the influential pastor revealed.
The revelation by Mensa Otabil follows an earlier statement he made about how "frustrating" it is to listen to Ghanaian radio and TV. According to Mensa Otabil, the politics in Ghana has eaten into the moral fIbre of the media making it very difficult for the country to address most of its challenges.
