Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, known in the world of showbiz as Shatta Michy, has opened up about the ‘bad press’ associated with her when something happens, even though she has equally done many good deeds.
Speaking in an interview on 'E with Becks', the longtime girlfriend of Shatta Wale bemoaned the fact that, some bloggers were quick to jump on ‘bad’ news related to her but went dead silent when she engaged in good deeds.
Shatta Michy said that bloggers and journalists had to broadcast the good news about her just as much as they broadcasted any bad news concerning her.
The comments of the ‘Cheating’ singer were in reaction to the fact that, according to her, only a few people chose to broadcast her recent charity work at an orphanage.
Adding up to the good deeds, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah said she felt more comfortable sometimes paying her offerings and tithes to the less-privileged in society.
On her religious life, Michy revealed that even though she was a member of the Christ Action Faith Ministry International, she did not frequently attend church.
Shatta Michy, who also doubles as an actress, indicated that she was living her life and did not want to be tagged as a hypocrite by doing things to please others instead of pleasing herself.
Speaking on how she kept up with her boyfriend and dancehall act, Shatta Wale, she revealed that Shatta Wale was a bigger version of a ‘baby’ but as a mummy figure, she knew how to handle him despite the many tantrums he threw.
Commenting on marriage, Shatta Michy revealed that her boyfriend and baby daddy was going to marry her soon.
Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy have been dating for eight years now and the couple have a son together.
Sometime last year, TV icon, Deloris Frimpong Manso, better known as Delay, is reported to have said that she was going to give Shatta Michy to another man if Shatta Wale was not ready to marry her.
