Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, may have stepped on some toes with his post on social media, as some of his fans appeared upset with his message.
According to Shatta Wale, some people pretend they are financially secure, when they are among friends, but fail to assist those who request for help.
He went on to say that such people tend to give all types of excuses, but nevertheless desire to appear affluent in the midst of colleagues.
Some of their defenses, he went on to say, include stories about helping sick people in hospitals. To him, inasmuch as it is good, these people, he added, very likely have nothing, and are simply bragging.
Shatta Wale added that they are merely pretenders, and should therefore refrain from such attitudes. Some social media users reacted in fury to his post:
