YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, in which she was outlining her plans for the future.
It is clear in this video that Ebony had indeed big plans for her music career, but unfortunately, Ghanaians would never see these plans fulfilled due to her sad demise.
The video is suspected to be an interview Ebony granted sometime back following her massive hit song ‘Sponsor’.
In that interview, Ebony said among many things that she expects herself and her brand to be known in all the world in five years time; that is in 2022.
“Ebony would have gone global in five years, that’s something I’m very sure about,” she said.
She also mentioned some collaborations she had with heavyweight musicians including Mugeez of R2Bees fame.
The touching part of the interview was when Ebony touched on the UK edition of the Ghana Meet Naija show she was to headline on February 10, 2018.
She was excited being one of the headliners of that show together with E.L and Naija’s own Olamide.
Unfortunately, Ebony never had the opportunity to grace that stage because her young life was cut short just two days before the event.
Ebony also spoke about her personality, stressing that she was living her life the way she originally was born, because she couldn’t live a double life like an actress.
She was vilified for what some Ghanaians described as obscene exposure on her part, but in all, Ebony was unperturbed, and continued to live her life the way she wanted to.
Her final funeral rites have been slated for March 24, 2018, at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
