According to information released by the Presidency, President Nana Akufo-Addo's decision to participate in the International Solar Summit was at the request of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
The International Solar Alliance is an initiative that aims to provide a platform for cooperation among countries rich in solar resources where individuals, countries, and organizations can contribute positively towards the achievement common energy goals.
