- Shatta Wale has disclosed the reason why he struggled as 'Bandana'
- According to him, it was because he didn't express love to some people
Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has revealed the reason behind his success as a musician.
In a report by MyNewsGH.com, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker disclosed that his failure to show love to others led him into destitution.
According to him, he experienced hunger and thirst because he expressed hatred towards some people.
Shatta Wale further noted that all it took was for him to wake up one day and ask serious questions about his lifestyle.
His decision to show love to others, he added, was the turning point in his life. After that, he said, all he has been experiencing is blessings.
Shatta Wale is, without doubt, one of Ghana's most popular musicians. He became famous in 2004 with his hit single 'Bandana from Ghana' which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.
The music artiste changed his stage name from 'Bandana' to 'Shatta Wale' after years of inactivity as a musician.
His comeback to the music industry saw him release a track 'Dancehall King' in 2013, which caught the attention of thousands of music fans.
The dancehall musician’s influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
In 2017, Shatta Wale won several international awards including the African Entertainment Awards (USA) where he picked the Best Dancehall Artiste award.
