- Kumi Guitar says Stonebwoy was given a one week ultimatum to decide whether to stay or leave Zylofon Media
- He also says he will go down if Zylofon goes down
Zylofon Media’s first signee, Kumi Guitar, has revealed another interesting side to the Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media saga.
According to the musician, Stonebwoy was given a one week ultimatum to decide on whether he wants to stay or leave Zylofon Media.
Kumi Guitar said this decision was reached when the management of the of the dancehall act met with Zylofon media a week ago.
“You’ve been spoken to and then you’ve been given the opportunity to decide if you still want to be part of us as family…if you want to go also, you decide."
"For a week now, you’ve not responded only for you to do this. Is it that you want to frustrate the investor or you want to frustrate Zylofon,” he asked.
According to the “Betweener” singer, his music career hangs on the shoulders of Zylofon Media and that anything Stonebwoy does to drag the name of Zylofon Media will affect him too.
“If these things keep happening and he [Stonebwoy] succeeds or people don’t get the picture right, he might succeed in pulling down Zylofon and if Zylofon is down, I am down,” Kumi Guitar said
Over the past weeks, there seem to have been several issues going on with Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media.
There have been several media reports regarding Stonebwoy’s decision to leave the entertainment company.
Some of the reports have alluded his desire to exit to the fact that Shatta Wale, another dancehall act has been signed.
