Past NSMQ winners excel at WASSCE

- NSMQ has celebrated two former contestants for their performance at the 2017 WASSCE

- Both students were among the top three best students at the 2017 WASSCE

- Both students are now students of the University of Ghana Medical School

Two former contestants of the National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ) have reportedly excelled at the 2017 WASSCE according to recent reports.

According to ppular reports, both students have done so well that they emerged among the top three best students at the 2017 WASSCE examinations.

Jochebad Adwoa Sutherland, a former student of Holy Child High School, was the overall best student for 2017's WASSCE. Her performance has won her an $8,000 cash prize from WAEC, a full scholarship from UMB, and a laptop.

Rachel Amaning Kwarteng, a former student of Aburi Girls, has emerged as the second runner-up, $500 from WAEC, GHC5,000 from First Banc, along with a laptop.

Both young ladies are now students of the University of Ghana's Medical School, and will enjoy a year's worth of free medical healthcare thanks to their stellar performance.
