- The Head of Zylofon Arts Club has banned the entertainment critic from the studios of Zylofon FM
- Willi Roi says Kwame Agyemang Berko's criticisms on officials of Zylofon Media are baseless
There was a near chaos at the studios Zylofon FM on Tuesday morning, after the head of Zylofon Arts Club, Wulli Roi decided to walk out a Ghanaian poet and entertainment critic, Kwame Agyemang Berko from a live show.
Tempers among the radio panelists flared following a heated argument about the conduct of Zylofon media workers in the current media tussle between dancehall artist, Stonebwoy and the record label.
Kwame Agyemang Berko who was a guest on “Showbiz Agenda” criticized Zylofon Media Manager, Bulldog for allegedly storming Paloma Hotel on Saturday night to retrieve a Mercedes Benz from Stonebwoy at a concert.
The entertainment pundit in his comment argued that the scuffle between and workers of Zyofon Media, led by Bulldog would have been avoided if due process were followed.
Kwame in his conversation asked Bulldog to take responsibility for the clash between the two parties which led to some gunshots at Champs Bar on Saturday night.
However, Mr Berko’s level disapproval did not go down well with Willi Roi, who described his criticisms as baseless.
The Zylofon Arts Club manager further called on the producers of the show to walk the Ghanaian poet out of the studio for making an assertion he claims is an upright disrespect to the media brand.
“How can you compare this media firm to Stonebwoy and say this place is pale. Next time you bring this guy here, I’m actually going to deal with you,” Willi Roi told the host of the show, Sammy Flex.
Willi Roi who was clearly not happy about the poet’s comment added that, “If this place is pale, then what are you doing here. Don’t you give him allowance when he comes here? Security get this guy out of here. He’s not supposed to be here. In fact he should never come back here.”
There has been growing tension between management of Stonebwoy and Zylofon media after the dancehall artiste declared his intention to pull out of the Zylofon media record deal.
Although there has not been official statements announcing Stonebwoy’s exit, industry players are predicting a possible ‘break up’ since the signing of Shatta Wale onto the record label
