Martin Amidu, Kofi Annan, Otabil, Anas, 5 others named among 100 Most Reputable Africans

- Nine Ghanaians have appeared in the latest list of 100 Most Reputable Africans

- Among the nine are, Mr Martin Amidu, Pastor Mensa Otabil, Kofi Annan, and Anas Aremeyaw Anas

- The list was put together by Reputation Poll, a leading global reputation-management consulting company

Nine Ghanaians have been named among the inaugural list of 100 Most Reputable Africans released by Reputation Poll, a leading global reputation-management consulting company.

They are Martin Amidu, Pastor Mensa Otabil, Kofi Annan, Dr Ken Kwaku, Yaw Nsarkoh, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Patrick Awuah, Patience Akyianu and Fred Swaniker.

The list which features individuals from diverse sectors including Leadership, Entertainment, Advocacy, Education and Business has representation from 33 African Countries with 55 males and 45 females.

Martin Amidu, Kofi Annan, Mensah Otabil named among 100 Most Reputable Africans

Nigeria leads with 21 individuals with South Africa, Kenya and Ghana following respectively.

Among the prominent African personalities listed are Rwanda President, Paul Kagame; Nigeria's Vice President, Prof Yemi Osibanjo; South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa; and Mauritius President, Ameena Gurib.

Others include: Former Liberia President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf; Archbishop Desmond Tutu; Mo Ibrahim, actress Lupita Nyongo; and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Reputation Poll which is known globally for its annual ranking of the 100 Most Reputable People on Earth and Most Reputable CEOs in various countries, is also set to be announcing new set of research works on personalities and brands across the globe.

During the announcement of the list, the Board made mention of their continued focus and commitment to honouring individuals, Organisations and brands who consistently impact lives positively around the world and in Africa.
