Allotey Jacobs of NDC wants to marry Rebecca Akufo-Addo?

- A Facebook account claiming to belong to NDC's Allotey Jacobs is alleging proposing his love for the first lady

- The post claims to see Allotey Jacobs expressing interest in dating Rebecca Akufo-Addo should Nana Addo die

- Neither Allotey Jacobs or the NDC has commented on the development

There are reports making the rounds that the Central Regional Chairman of the opposition NDC, Allotey Jacobs, says he will marry the first lady, should President Akufo-Addo die today.

YEN.com.gh cannot confirm whether the Facebook page on which this post was seen actually belongs to Allotey Jacobs.

The Facebook comment read “Yes so tell Nana that the wife is too sweet so the day he climbs to paradise, if am alive, Charlie, he mo know say I will be the next their hierarchy."

Should this report be real, the hierarchy of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) should be commenting on the development, especially, when it could attract legal suits from the presidency.

Allotey Jacobs of NDC wants to marry Rebecca Akufo-Addo?

Mrs. Akufo-Addo was born in 1951 to Jacob Hackenburg Griffiths-Randolph and Frances Philipina ( (née Mann) as the third of seven children.

Her father, Griffith-Randolph, served as Ghana's Speaker of Parliament during the Third Republic with Dr. Hilla Limann as president.

Having qualified as a secretary, Mrs. Akufo-Addo got employed by the Merchant Bank where she worked for sometime before relocating to the United Kingdom (UK).

While in the UK, she qualified as a legal secretary and worked at two different reputable places, Clifford Chance and Ashurst Morris Crisp, both multinational firms.
