Ghana's most popular dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has denied recent reports to the effect that he is asking for a fee in order to perform at the late Ebony Reigns's tribute concert.
On Thursday, March 15th, Bullet, born Ricky Nana Agyeman and manager of the late Ebony Reigns, posted a message on Facebook to the effect that one artist who professed to have loved Ebony Reigns onstage at her one week observation, was now looking to be paid to perform at her tribute concert.
Bullets post quickly gained traction on social media, and had some Ghanaians suspecting that the only artist in Ghana who would do is one of Ghana's most controversial - and popular - celebrities, Shatta Wale.
Only Shatta Wale...
Is it Shatta?
Now in a post shared on his Facebook page, Shatta Wale has responded to the rumor in no ambiguous manner. The "Taking Over" hit-maker has asked how he could possibly charge to go perform at a funeral. According to Shatta Wale, Bullet would be a "fool" to go around making such allegations.
