According to Kennedy Agyapong, Traboulsi is causing great havoc at the airport but is not being punished because he is linked to the powerful force of the Rawlingses.
The former first family, according to Kennedy Agyapong, is preventing Marwan’s ‘dubious’ airport cargo contract from being reviewed, as the said contract is a rip-off of the Republic of Ghana and has been running since July 2012 when it was signed.
“How can you have an agreement with this company on 20th July 2012 and tell us that by Regulations of the Company the draft will be provided by the Ghana Airport Company Limited. On basic terms to incorporate, [point] one, NIL-rent during initial term… and [point] two, the initial term is 20 years. No rent for 20 years! Who does that?” he asked.
The allegations leveled by Kennedy Agyapong follows previous ones made against some members of the NPP and also that of the NDC.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong says whereas most of his colleagues are driving through traffic whereas he is always stuck without even a police escort.
Speaking to the media, Kennedy Agyapong revealed that his mouth and vociferous nature seems to be affecting him negatively.
“NPP big men and women who were condemning NDC over traffic sirens, today they are all over the place with sirens disturbing Ghana. Now they are enjoying it… But for me, me- Kennedy Agyapong, every day, I am in traffic. I am in traffic! Because of my mouth! Yes, Because of my mouth”, the lawmaker lamented.
Kennedy Agyapong has been a staunch critic of his party since it took office after winning the 2016 elections.
Mr. Agyapong made allegations against some unnamed presidential staffers indicating that they demanded a minimum of $20,000 from persons seeking to see the president before allowing them, a comment that has been widely criticized by the party.
