- The demand of sex by managers before giving out jobs is allegedly on the rise
- Actress Yvonne Nelson has said some managers begged her for sex before handing her movie roles
- But Afia Schwar has said that is a bad thing, and she would deal with any manager who asks her for sex
According to reports, the current trend in Ghana now is the trade of sex for job or business opportunities.
This menace has been in the system for long, however, it is said to be on the rise currently.
Actress Yvonne Nelson recently revealed that during her early days of acting, some movie producers and managers requested for sex before they decide to give her movie roles.
Yvonne, however, stated that she never gave in to those “inhumane” requests.
The latest to comment on this development is controversial female celebrity, Afia Schwarzenegger.
According to her, if any manager or movie producer should approach her with such a request, she would deal with him.
She added rather plainly that she would rather go act “porn” with that manager at the stadium in the full glare of others.
Afia made this submission in a report by Modern Ghana sighted by YEN.com.gh
“We will go and act ‘porn’ at the stadium if any manager requests to see my nakedness first,” Afia said.
She further encouraged women to be firm and never give in to such cruel demands by their bosses.
Afia added that if the lady knew their worth, trading sex for a job or movie roles would be the last thing on their minds.
