- Shatta Wale has counseled music producers to ensure that they get themselves educated
- According to him, some of them are only interested in enriching themselves, at the expense of the musician
Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has advised music producers to ensure that they are properly educated.
In a report by MyNewsGH.com, he stated that producers usually attempt to enrich themselves at the expense of their artistes.
He added that musicians such as Stonebwoy, Becca and Obibini are comfortable in life, because, they had the right producers.
In his view, such producers know what is best for their artistes, and as such implement measures designed to enhance their wellbeing.
Touching on doubts raised by a cross-section of Ghanaians with respect to the house allegedly purchased by Zylofon Media for him, he stated that they are free to believe whatever makes them happy.
He went on to say that he is no longer friends with poverty and as such isn’t interested in any form of association with it.
Shatta Wale is, without doubt, one of Ghana's most popular musicians. He became famous in 2004 with his hit single "Bandana from Ghana" which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.
The music artiste changed his stage name from "Bandana" to "Shatta Wale" after years of inactivity.
His comeback to the music industry saw him release a track "Dancehall King" in 2013, which caught the attention of thousands of music fans.
The dancehall musician’s influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
In 2017, Shatta Wale won several international awards including the African Entertainment Awards (USA) where he picked the Best Dancehall Artiste award.
