Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has recently announced that he is longer friends with poverty and that he's the richest Ghanaian musician.
When it comes to the ability to be controversial, Ghana's self-styled dancehall king, Shatta Wale, is second to none.
In an interview on the popular Accra-based radio station, Peace FM, Shatta Wale expressed that there's no need for him to show proof of his riches since he's grown beyond that stage.
Recently, Shatta Wale took to social media and shared a live video of what he was the house he was supposed to receive as part of his relatively new deal with Zylofon Media.
“You know why I started customising my number plate? It was because people who are not business minded were always saying I cannot buy the cars I use so I had to brand them in order for them to know that they are mine.
But for now, I don’t have a problem because I don’t associate with people without business mentality. I’m no more friends with poverty and people who think that I can’t acquire any property are driven by poverty.” He said.
