Koku Anyidoho, the Deputy General Secretary of Ghana’s largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Dr. Mensa Otabil to preach and live in a zoo.
In a report by MyNewsGH.com, Anyidoho added that Dr. Otabil, who is the Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), is a “hypocrite and a parasite.”
According to him, Dr. Otabil is hesitant to point out the shortfalls of the Akufo-Addo-led government.

He added the clergyman is expected to monitor and criticize the current government if need be, but instead choose to declare that he would watch animals rather than Ghanaian television stations.
He went on to say that Dr. Otabil therefore only watches human beings when NDC is in power.
“Suddenly, some pastors say that today they watch animals. They are prepared to watch antelopes and giraffes,” he said.
He added that when the NDC was in power, Dr. Otabil readily to listened to the people as he prepared his sermons, but is now prepared to watch animals when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has assumed control of government.
