After going back and forth between singing highlife and being a pastor, veteran musician, Samuel Ofori Amponsah, has said that God did not call him to become a pastor.
According to Ofori Amponsah who is also popularly known as 'Mr. All 4 Real', God called him but he probably was not not asking him to become a pastor and have his own congregation.
Speaking to Delay on the Delay Show , Ofori Amponsah said he thinks God might have called him for something else.
He also said he had the calling of God but circumstances and things he was going through at that point in his life forced him to set up a church.
Ofori Amponsah also admitted to Delay that setting up a church was a miscalculated step and not that he wanted to make money out of it.
He continued that at that point in his life, he needed people to pray with because he was going through a messy divorce.
"Why would I leave music to set up a church with just hundred members when I can sing in front of about thirty thousand people? What sense does it make?" he asked.

After years of producing hits tracks, Ofori Amponsah took a break from secular music to set up a church and became a preacher of the gospel in 2014. In 2015, the musician declared he was no more a pastor, causing a lot of stir in the media.
