- Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been at each other’s throat for many years now
- The two have been “fighting” over who owns the right as dancehall king of Ghanaian
- Stonebwoy seems to have thrown a fresh shade at Wale, “advising” him to be wise and responsible
YEN.com.gh has sighted the latest post of dancehall musician Stonebwoy, in which he seems to have ‘punched’ his arch rival, Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy posted a photo of himself on his Instagram page with the short but deep caption: “Once Upon A Time.... Be Wise And Responsible!”
It us unclear exactly what Stonebwoy had in mind for making that post, but some of his fans have read meanings into it, and have concluded that he is taking a dig at Shatta Wale.
Here are some of the comments by his fans:
nodirt20 “Don Dada.. You be bad man.... You dey through shot give Gbee.” The “Gbee” here refers to Shatta Wale, who Yaa Pono called “Gbee naabu” (Dog-mouthed) in a “diss track”.
kasanoma_gh “Simple but deep... #DirtyEnemies can relate.”
nyitebwoy_bhim “Efo gye wo five ✋”
iameddy_ng “Abwoy. U get enemies wey u saa post dis caption. #DirtyEnemies”
nash_ray “Hahahaha this caption will shake a table and on that table we have “Opana” on it ”. "Opana" here refers to Shatta Wale, whom Stonebwoy has on many occasions referred to as Opana because he just doesn’t want to mention Wale’s name.
From their comments, it is clear that Stonebwoy’s fans believe the post is directed at Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy, who outdoored his “miracle” baby over the weekend just six months after marriage, has taken Wale on in his latest single “Dirty Enemies”.
In the song, he sings of how that enemy keeps insulting the mothers, attacking the prophets, and killing the youth.
Stonebwoy also cautioned the enemy to be cautious else he ends up in a casket.
Many entertainment pundits have named the dirty enemy in Stonebwoy’s song as Shatta Wale.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has advised Stonebwoy to remain at Zylofon Music for a better career.
