The famous gospel musician who doubles as a Prophetess of God, last year held a praise concert at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

But few days later, a video of the prophetess went viral on various social media platforms, where Cecilia Marfo was captured handing over what appears to be a slap to Brother Sammy.

The musician was also seen removing a number of necklaces Brother Sammy was wearing before warning him strictly to refrain from ungodly acts.

This was said to have caught the attention of many social media users.

However, speaking on the matter weeks after the event, Brother Sammy told the media Cecilia Marfo conspired with another gospel musician, Ernest Opoku, just to disgrace him.

The musician who was clearly angry in an interview with US-based Highlife Radio vowed to slap Cecilia Marfo back if she dares any move next time.

Meanwhile, reacting to the matter on Adom FM, on Wednesday, Counselor Lutterodt said he cannot fathom why some gospel musicians would carry themselves as 'men of God' to give prophecies.

The controversial Counselor insisted that gospel musicians should stay in their core business of writing and producing songs, and not hijacking the duty of pastors.

When asked by the host if Brother Sammy needed to have returned the slap, Counselor Lutterodt answered in the affirmative, insisting that "Sammy missed the mark; he could have slapped the spirit out of Cecilia Marfo.’"

“Whatever the spirit is, he could have slapped that out. She [Cecilia Marfo] is a church member and must remain as such,” Counselor Lutterodt said.
