- Canada-based musician, Minister Ike has criticized Shatta Wale for 'insulting' Stonebwoy
- The Gospel musician said that Stonebwoy was better than Shatta Wale both lyrically and musically
Multiple award-winning Canada-based Ghanaian gospel artiste, Minister Ike, has taken a swipe at Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, for mocking fellow artiste, Stonebwoy, over his disability.
Speaking in an interview with Razzonline.com and sighted on Modernghana.com, Minister Ike said it was very childish on the part of Shatta Wale to use Stonebwoy's disability to mock him.
Minister Ike revealed that it was rather unfortunate that Shatta Wale had to call Stonebwoy a 'one-legged cripple' because it smacked of insensitivity.
He added that Shatta Wale was just a local champion with a huge following who supported him even when he said inappropriate things.
Deliberating further on the matter, Minister Ike, who is based in Canada, revealed that, Stonebwoy was known internationally and was lyrically better than Shatta Wale.
According to the gospel act, “ Shatta Wale is only known in Ghana…Stonebwoy is well known internationally…he was on bill boards in Canada here…and for a Ghanaian artiste to be on bill boards here is a great achievement” he emphasized.
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, both signed onto Zylofon Music label, over the weeks, have been throwing serious jabs at each other ever since the Bulldog-Zylofon-Stonebwoy brouhaha happened at Champs Bar in Accra.
Not too long ago, Stonebwoy, known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, claimed that he was lyrically and musically better than Shatta Wale.
In replying to Stonebwoy's claim, Shatta Wale took to his Facebook page and descended heavily on Stonebwoy by calling him a 'one-legged' cripple.
Minister Ike went on to advise Shatta Wale to desist from 'fighting' with his fellow Ghanaian artistes.
Known in real life as Isaac Wilson, Minister Ike is noted forthe hit song, “Onyame Gya”. He is set to release his first song for 2018 titled 'Wonderful God' in April.
