Ghanaians saddened by Sarkodie's tribute song for Ebony

Award-winning rapper, Sarkodie has released a new song as a tribute to late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns.

The song released barely two days to the funeral of the late Ebony, who died in a gory accident on February 8, is titled 'Wake Up Call'.

Ebony's car she was travelling in rammed into an oncoming VIP bus as the driver tried to swerve a heap of sand and some potholes on the road.

Though a tribute to Ebony, Sarkodie used the song to call on public officials to be proactive in order to reduce the number of road accidents in the country.

The video of the song which has gone viral since its release, has caused a lot of emotional outbursts from Ghanaians.

While some social media users are commending Sarkodie for his efforts in drawing attention to the issue of road accidents, many of them are have expressed sadness over the death of Ebony.
