Today, as the funeral of the artiste has begun, YEN.com.gh brings you 6 people who may never recover from the death of the 21-year-old singer.
1. Ebony’s Father
Ebony Reigns was seen in the public’s eye as a typical ‘Daddy’s Girl’ and many photos and videos can attest to this fact. Mr. Nana Opoku Kwarteng referred to Ebony as Ohemaa. It showed how much he cherished his daughter.
It would not be far-fetched to say that he would obviously be the most affected person over the death of his ‘baby girl’. Both father and daughter were seen in videos and pictures as they basked in affection for one another.
Not too long ago, he recounted in an interview that he could not sleep and his demeanor alone was evidence of how hit he was by his daughter’s untimely death.
2. Ebony’s Mother
Madam Beatrice Oppong, mother of the late musician touched the hearts of many people with an emotional video of which went viral on social media after the news of her daughter’s death got to her.
She was seen in the video negotiating with God to bring back her daughter because she had gone into a covenant with the Lord. The video broke many hearts and tears filled the eyes of some people who watched it.
Madam Oppong was plausibly the last family member of Ebony to have seen the singer before her unfortunate death.
It was reported that Ebony and 2 others were returning from her mother’s place in Sunyani after she paid a surprise visit to her.
3. Ebony’s Sister
Ebony’s death came as a big to her elder sister, Foriwaa Opoku-Kwarteng. She was one of the most affected as the death made her ‘speechless’ for a while.
The young lady was seen in videos and photos looking very distraught and sad following the demise of her sister. Both sisters were seen in many photos together which hit social media after the accident.
Father of both ladies, Mr. Nana Opoku Kwarteng, in an interview with Joy News, revealed that his older daughter was heartbroken over the incident.
4. Franky Kuri’s Family
Another family that might be ‘eternally’ affected after the accident that killed Ebony is that of Franky Kuri, Ebony’s childhood friend and Personal Assistant.
Born, Franklina Maame Yaa Teboa Nkansah, Franky is known to have died in the same accident that took the life of the singer.
Her family members were shocked by the reports that followed after their daughter’s demise. Franky’s death could be considered as unfortunate since she had to always be around Ebony on all of her travels. She was buried earlier in March in Accra.
5. Family of Francis Atsu Vondee
The military man who was reportedly assigned to guard Ebony, lost his life together with the singer and one other person. After the shocking death of the trio, some videos and photos of the air force man popped up on social media and it broke the hearts of many people.

Many people rubbished the driver’s story about how the accident happened and it appeared as though he was fabricating what happened. He might not recover from the death of the singer since people said many things after the accident happened in February.
