Founder of UK-based World Miracle Outreach and International Evangelist, Dr Lawrence Tetteh, has said that he paid for the casket of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.
The renowned preacher, who met the singer days before she passed, also revealed that apart from the casket, he also took care of the mortuary bills.
Delivering a sermon at the funeral of the late musician at the forecourt of the State House on Saturday, the preacher said he did all that because of the love he had for the singer.
Rev. Canon Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said it wasn’t his interest to make known to the public how much expenses he had made regarding the funeral of the dancehall artiste.
He said he paid for the casket and mortuary expenses “not because I didn’t know what to do with money” but just to show “we love you [Ebony].”
The man of God noted with remorse how sad and very sad and disappointing it was that some entertainment personalities were using the death of someone’s daughter it to make themselves popular.
