- Thousands thronged the forecourt of the State House in Accra Saturday to bid farewell to the late dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in music circles as Ebony Reigns
- In attendance were the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare, the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Sammy Awuku, Kofi Adjorlolo, Maame Dokono, Akosua Agyapong, Rex Omar, Stonebwoy and Gyadu-Blay Ambulley and Countryman Songo
Many artistes and other stars were present at the funeral of the late Ebony Reigns, however, journalist, Countryman Songo completely stole the show when he arrived at the grounds.
The controversial journalist joined a host of other celebrities as they paid their last respect to Ebony.
Songo is known to boast a huge fan base across the country, but the reaction to his arrival at the funeral ground wasn’t to be expected.
Heavily guarded by police presence, the “Fire man'' came in in a saloon car, with hundreds of his fans singing and chanting his name.
Meanwhile, Manager of deceased Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns has eulogized the singer, describing her as a staunch Christian.
According to Ricky “Bullet” Nana Agyeman, contrary to popular belief, Ebony was a committed Christian who occasionally had prayer sessions with prophets and Christian leaders.
The late Ebony Reigns, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was finally laid to rest at the Osu cemetery in Accra after her burial service was held at the forecourt of the State House.
