- Rev. Lawrence Tetteh has reacted to rumours of bad blood between Rev. Owusu Bempah and himself
- According to him, Rev. Owusu Bempah is his brother and for that reason, the speculations are baseless
The Founding President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has dismissed reports that he isn’t on good terms with Rev. Owusu Bempah, the General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International.
According to him, such comments are based on mere speculations and must therefore be ignored.
YEN.com.gh understands that Owusu Bempah’s arrival at the forecourt of the State House, the venue for the burial ceremony of the late Ebony, disrupted Rev. Tetteh’s sermon, a development he promptly responded to.
He is reported to have stated that: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m preaching. I think this is one of things we do in Ghana that is so disrespectful. A man of God is preaching; we should show respect because it is not right. Rev Isaac, join me up stage.”
The comment was interpreted by a cross-section of Ghanaians as an indication of bad blood between the two men of God.
Speaking to Adom TV, Rev. Tetteh explained that he has no problem with Rev. Owusu Bempah, whom he describes as his brother.
He added that disrespecting a fellow man of God will be the last thing he’ll do in private, let alone on such a public event which was being carried live on national television.
Rev. Tetteh went on to say that there was no point in creating issues between men of God. He added that he even took all the money Rev. Owusu Bempah had on him, and shared it among some people.
