Zylofon Media signee,Charles Nii Armah Mensaah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has taken time off his busy schedule to wish President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a happy 74th birthday.
The multiple award-winning dancehall act took to his Instagram account and celebrated the first gentleman of the Republic of Ghana with a message wishing him well.
Shatta Wale shared a picture of his famous visit to the Jubilee House, formerly known as the Flagstaff House upon receiving an invitation from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The singer captioned his photo, “Happy birthday to the head custodian of our Land @nakufoaddo....please don't go by the rule book... lead us from the heart... we believe in you ...God Bless Ghana”.
Shatta Wale made history last year when he received a special invitation to visit the president at the seat of the presidency. The invitation from the presidency was posted on the official Twitter handle of Akufo-Addo.
After Shatta Wale’s visit to the Flagstaff House, other artistes were also clamoring for their own ‘chance’ to also meet with President Akufo-Addo.
Some top current and past state functionaries including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and First Lady Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo have wished the president a happy birthday.
A party is currently ongoing at the presidency with many people in attendance. First daughters Gyankroma and Edwin Akufo-Addo were seen in a bubbly mood as they took selfies with the birthday celebrant.
