- The dancehall act has promised the president a 20-minute live band performance in celebration of his 74th birthday
Zylofon Media signee, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has extended an invitation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to visit him for a special treat.
The singer who took time off his busy schedule to wish Nana Addo a happy 74th birthday has gone on to also invite Nana Addo to his Zylofon Media mansion for a music treat.
Shatta Wale took to his Twitter handle and posted, “Happy birthday @NAkufoAddo..abeg adey invite you and your team to my Zylofon Ship house for a 20mins live band performance....PLEASE DON'T SAY NO.”
The multiple award-winning dancehall act took to his Instagram account yesterday and celebrated the first gentleman of the Republic of Ghana with a birthday message.
Shatta Wale shared a picture of his famous visit to the Jubilee House, after receiving an invitation from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The singer captioned his photo, “Happy birthday to the head custodian of our Land @nakufoaddo....please don't go by the rule book... lead us from the heart... we believe in you ...God Bless Ghana”.
Shatta Wale made history last year when he received a special invitation to visit the president at the seat of government. The invitation from the presidency was posted on the official Twitter handle of Akufo-Addo.
It is on this premise that the ‘Taking Over’ singer has also extended his invitation to have the president visit his abode for a live band treat. The multiple award-winning act pleaded with the president not to turn down the request.
Yesterday, some top current and past state functionaries including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, ex-president Kufuor and First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo joined Nana Addo at a party organized for him.
