- Kofi Bentil has listed reason why the NPP to lose the 2020 elections
- He says the recent arrest of Koku Anyidoho was not okay
- He has referred to his reasons as "political sins"
The Vice President of Imani Africa, a popular policy think tank, has suggested that the ruling New Patriotic Party may end up losing the upcoming 2020 general elections over what he's referred to as the party's "political sins".
Mr. Bentils comment comes in the wake of a couple of controversies that - according to him - government could have avoided, controversies he believes may cost the current administration the upcoming elections.

In a post on his Facebook page, Mr. Bentil listed five controversial decisions, starting by the most recent ones .
He starts off by saying that last week's demonstration against the recently ratified defense agreement between the government of Ghana and the US Government was not an opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) demonstration, but one that expressed the people's sentiment against the deal.
He also touched on this week's arrest of the NDC's Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho, saying that the move was "not okay.
In what appears to be resignation, Mr. Bentil goes on to express frustration at the fact that one one may be hated for calling someone out when they do something wrong.
"A word to the wise is a waste of time...
A word to a fool is also a waste of time."
