Rising Ghanaian musician, Eugene Baah, better known as Kuami Eugene, has dismissed claims that he was expelled from school.
In a report by zionfelix.net, he stated that he used to be a student of Salvation Army Senior High School, located at Akim-Wenchi, but switched schools in his second year.
According to him, he was removed from the boarding house in his second year, and is therefore convinced that could be the reason for the rumour.
Shedding light on the incident, the ‘Angela’ hitmaker stated that the school’s photographer captured him when he went out of campus to perform at a festival without an exeat.
This move by the school authorities, he said, caused his mother to move him to a different school.
He added that another reason for the change was because his mother wanted to keep an eye on him.
Kuami Eugene went on to say that he later enrolled at the Ghana Telecom University College, after his high school education, and as such there is no iota of truth in the rumour.
