Popular Ghanaian fetish priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has named his newborn baby girl after controversial dancehall musician, Charles Nii armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale.
According to Kwaku Bonsam, his decision was influenced by his love for the controversial musician and his entire music.
The traditional priest in an interview with Suncitygh.com disclosed that although his baby is a girl, he has decided to give her the name Yaa Bonsam Shatta.
To him, the name will be her daughter’s official document name and she will be known and identified as such.
Kwaku Bonsam and Shatta Wale are two of the most controversial personalities in Ghana, who have made headlines in the media over the years.
Though it is not clear when the friendship between the two started, Shatta Wale recently in a video showered praise on Bonsam for wishing him well in his music career.
The self-acclaimed dancehall King in a Facebook video dedicated his recently won international award to Kwaku Bonsam for predicting the win ahead of time.
