Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale, has opened more fire on three of his industry colleagues, accusing them of being broke.
According to Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy and Yaa Pono are only ‘empty barrels’ in Ghana’s music industry.
To him, the three Ghanaian musicians are riddled with poverty despite their claim for supremacy in the music industry.
Addressing hundreds of his fans during performance at the Zylofon Cash Activation Concert in Aflao over the weekend, Shatta Wale launched an attack on the three musicians.
The dancehall artiste in the middle of his performance told his audience that majority of Ghanaian musicians are poor and Zylofon Media has come to rescue musicians such as Samini, Stonebwoy and Yaa Pono from poverty.
"You see Zylofon, they come cure our problems for we, they say they no go come lie to Ghana artiste like some record labels," Shatta Wale said.
Shatta Wale who was spotted in a video was heard telling his fans that some Ghanaian record labels have made the likes of Samini, Stonebwoy and Yaa Pono very poor.
The controversial artiste in his delivery added that he chose to join Zylofon Media because he doesn’t want to be poor and whatever he wants, the record label will do for him.
