Often when a talented teenager is spotted at Junior High School (JHS) level, not much is invested into their talents to ensure that they develop into greats.
However, it takes just a glance to realise that Ghana is a country blessed with abundant talents all over.
On the backdrop of this, YEN.com.gh introduces you to an amazing teenage girl called Alice Gbeku.
This teenager has shattered almost all records at her school and is bent on making more history with her talent in sprinting.
Alice is a JHS 3 pupil and currently holds 13 certificates in just two years of sprinting. She has represented the Asuogyaman District at many U-15 athletic events and has often come up tops.
She has represented the district in 100m, 200m, 4x100m and many more sprinting events.
The story of Alice was brought to light by a Facebook user called Paa Kwesi who posted photos of young Alice holding all the certificates she has won from her athletic career at the JHS level.
“Alice, a JHS 3 pupil in the same school with Charlotte. She's a versatile athlete with 13 certificates in two years. She's currently representing Asuogyaman district at the regional level U-15 in 100m, 200m, 4×100m, triple jump and volleyball.
She's an already-made genius who makes 12s in 100m.
This is a national asset and must not go wasted.

Indeed, Alice all talented teenagers like her need support to reach their full potentials.
