Rawlings will pay for his evil deeds – Kennedy Agyapong

- Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has predicted that Former President Rawlings will suffer a long and painful death

- According to him, the former military ruler will wrongly ended the lives of others and will therefore pay the price

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has stated that Former President Jerry John Rawlings will pay for his actions.

According to him, the former military leader and Head of State will suffer before he dies, as he allegedly killed people during his time as the leader of the country.

The MP went on to say that Rawlings’ death will be a long and excruciating one. Speaking on Oman FM’s ‘Boiling Point’, he noted that Rawlings is a living example of former military men who wrongly ended the lives of others, and will therefore suffer the same, if not worse consequences.

“You see how Rawlings has been shaking. He is not dead yet, he won’t die now. Rawlings will suffer to the glory of God,” Kennedy Agyapong prophesied.

The lawmaker’s comments were in reaction to comments attributed to Colonel Aggrey Quarshie, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).

Colonel Quarshie, speaking to Kumasi-based Ultimate FM, made statements to suggest that the MP cannot buy his way into earning slots in the military for ‘his people’.

This, he explained, is because GAF remains professional in its dealings, and will continue to recruit persons into the military solely based on merit.

He further noted that there is a process to be followed with respect to recruitment of people and for that matter, once all required documents are in order, everyone stands an equal chance of being accepted into the military.
