Social media user praises Ghana Police for saving her family from armed robbery

- A Facebook user has heaped tons of praise on the Ghana Police Service for their rapid response to thwart a robbery

- According to the user, the police responded in less than 10 minutes after receiving the distress call

A Facebook user by name Jessica Kekeli Abudey, has taken to social media to shower praise on the Ghana Police Service for their rapid response to coil a robbery attack and saving her family members.

According to Jessica, they placed a ‘low key’ call to the police when they were besieged by robbers in their home.

She revealed that, “Wow .... Ghana Police has really surprised me .... my family and I were almost robbed at home and just a low key call to 191 with my home address and direction... armed police men with two patrol cars arrived in less than 10minutes... We thank God for our lives and secondly to the police.... I’m so grateful....”

The relieved Facebook user, appeared taken aback by how fast some patrol cars appeared on the scene with armed police men ready to ‘deal’ with the situation.

The post made by Jessica Kekeli Abudey has brought massive commendation the way of the police and has boosted the image of the outfit.

The post has already been shared over a thousand times.

The official Facebook page of the Ghana Police Service has responded to the compliment and has called on citizens to give them feedback.

The official release read, “We are encouraged. Give us feedback #MyGhPoliceatwork.”

The nation has been beleaguered with a surge of robbery attacks which have left some people dead, others injured and has led to the loss of valuable property.

The Ghana Police Service has resolved to nip the robbery cases in the bud to ensure all Ghanaians felt safe in the country.
