Shatta Wale celebrates fans in Liberia for naming a beach and football club after him

YEN.com.gh has sighted photos and post by Shatta Wale suggesting that his fans in Liberia have named a beach and football club after him.

Shatta Wale revealed this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

The photos seen by YEN.com.gh prove that indeed a beach and football club have been named after Shatta Wale.

The beach is called ”SM Beach” and the team, “SM Football Club.

Shatta Wale is so excited with this development that he took to his Facebook wall to acknowledge the love shown him by his fans in Liberia.

He wrote: “Liberia I see the love...naming a beach and a football club after Shatta Movement.. #SM4LYF.”

His comment shows that he is indeed grateful to the Liberian fans for their kind gesture.

So far, Shatta Wale is the only Ghanaian artiste with a large following outside the shores of Ghana.

Even in Ghana, his fans are uncountable, and they have always thrown their weight behind him in his music and “beefs” with other artistes.

He has recently been in the news for claiming that he got the real meaning of his name ‘Shatta’ in a dream on March 30, 2018.

The meaning of Shatta, according to Shatta Wale is: “Serious Hustlers Always Trust The Almighty.

Shatta Wale has also been in the news for ‘fighting’ his colleague Stonebwoy over the title: “Dancehall king”.
