The organizing team behind the just ended 3Music Awards have revealed that they have no intention of demanding refunds from some musicians who failed to perform at the event on March 24, 2018.
According to a report by Zionfelix.net, the leader of the team, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, stated that even though Shatta Wale, KiDi and Kuami Eugene were paid to perform at the event, he has no intention of making demands for monies given to them.
This, he explained, is because the three musicians, were present and ready to perform on the day of the event, but challenges on the part of the organizers denied them the chance to mount the stage.
He however added that another musician, Kwasi Arthur, had to refunded the GHc4000 given him, as his case was different.
Abu explained that Kwasi Arthur put up a stubborn attitude, and for that matter, the money had to be taken from him.
He went on to say that that musician, who gained fame as a result of his hit track, ‘Anthem’, refused to wait and perform, even though he was informed of the time he will be on stage.
