Ghanaian actress Gloria Sarfo took it upon herself to donate to some veteran actors and actresses on her birthday.
The actress and presenter celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, April 4, in grand style.
But, rather than enjoy herself alone, she decided to share the moment with her senior colleagues who are not in so much of a good standing.
Gloria Sarfo made donations of various products to the veteran actors and actress, insisting it is a gesture that is dear to her heart.
According to her, she normally gives back to society on her birthday each year and decided to continue with the tradition this year too.
Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix.com, the actress she would prefer to celebrate veteran actors and actress whiles they are alive rather than when they are dead and gone.
“Every year [on my birthday] I try to do something to give back to society. This year I was thinking about what I could do, and after so much thoughts, I decided to do something that is so dear to my heart,” Gloria Sarfo said.
“I didn’t want to wait until someone was dead or lying on the sick bed before I go to show them love. So this near I decided to go to our veteran actors and actresses to show them love.”
The actress is a regular feature in the award-winning television series Efiewura, and has also stared in many other movies.
She is also into presenting and is currently a co-host on TV3’s ‘Music Music’ show.
