Berla Mundi to co-host VGMA with John Dumelo?

Information available to YEN.com.gh indicates that beautiful media personality, Berla Mundi, will be hosting the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Further reports suggest that she will be hosting the event with John Dumelo.

The Starr FM Presenter has been known in previous years for hosting the red-carpet sessions of the awards scheme.

The event will be held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

The theme for this year’s edition, which is the 19th edition of the event is “Our Music Beyond Borders” – it is designed to inspire Ghanaian artistes and music industry players to aspire toward making strong influences globally with their music and artistry.

Rapper Sarkodie and late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns have the highest number of nominations at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards. Sarkodie bagged nine nominations including the ultimate – ‘Artiste of the Year.’

Gospel artiste, Joe Mettle followed closely with seven nominations.

Stonebwoy, Ebony, Kidi and Shatta Wale got six nominations each.
